Sorry it has been so long since I’ve written an update. The stressful pace of life has taken over the last few months and left me with little time to enjoy the outdoors, or anything else for that matter.

The spring hike was a great time. Last April, we hiked the Pino Trail in the Sandia Mountains.  About 12 women enjoyed the outdoors that day. It was a perfect morning to hike. The trail starts out fairly easy, but gradually we all began to feel a bit challenged. It was great, and wonderful to meet new friends.

I attempted some fly fishing the latter part of June but the Chama River showed no mercy as she was quite swift. I wiped out a couple of times and gave up. I will give another attempt in late July as the runoff will have calmed down by then.

I hope to hear from anyone who has any outdoor stories to tell and I hope the summer has inspired you all to get out and try something new.

I would like to get in another hike in the early fall. Let me know if you are interested.
