KOKANEE SALMON

START A C4C CHAPTER

Once you start fishing for these bad boys, you’ll be snagged. No joke! The most popular way to land your bag of Kokonee Salmon is to snagging them with a treble hook after the spawn. During this time, the spawning male will display a Long snout, arched back, and they will have a pinkish red to orange color. The females will appear a bluish green along the back with silvery sides. For a more rewarding challenge tackle the monsters, before the spawn. Not only will the fish provide a better fight, but they will also be firmer and healthier. Try trolling in the summer between 50 and 90 feet deep. Your best bet is to entice them with a downrigger.

[Striped Bass] [White Bass] [Catfish] [Trout] [Kokanee] [Walleye]
