Walleye can most often be found in suspended deep water or while trolling shorelines with weeds and big drop-offs. They prefer cooler water and go deep in the hot summer months. Jigs, Twister Tails and Rapalas are favorites among anglers. The hot colors for attracting big fish are Fire Tiger, red, chartreuse, blue, white, bright yellow, bright red and black.
